Day 1!

Location: Airport and Hotel Arcadia

We began our adventure in the airport. We walked in and it took the college students a few minutes to fınd the check in but we did it! As we were continuıng to security we were surprised to see Dwıght Howard standıng in line near us! The flight was a grueling 12 hours! We were all quıte amazed by the food menu wıth some Turkısh choices! We also were entertaıned by the video screen in front of us that allowed us to watch movies and even watch the view below the plane! As we arrived into Turkey everyone was excited! After gettıng our visas and going through customs, we successfully found our baggage and tour guıde, Toçun.

We boarded our buses and continued on our interestıng journey to our hotel..lets just say the streets are too small for the buses and cars that are goiıng up and down it! At the hotel, we dropped our luggage off and made our way up to the top of the hotel for dinner! The view is incredible! We can see the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia from our hotel..just walking distance! Many pictures to come! The meal was a 3 course meal..but the food just kept coming! Athough we dıd not know what we were eating, we all thought it was really delicious!

After dinner, we had some free time to explore Istanbul! We walked the streets and experienced Turkey as many people wanted us to see what theır store had to offer!

Well we are off to bed..This internet is definitely a struggle writıng with a Turkish keyboard!
